LASH APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE AND POLICIES

BEFORE APPOINTMENT

  • Before your appointment, please wash your face and your eyes thoroughly. Please make sure your eyes are free from makeup and oil-based skin care products. The lashes especially should be clean.

    • If you have 40% or less of of lash extensions from a previous procedure or if it's been more than 4 weeks (3 weeks for classic sets) since you last had lashes done, you will need a new set and possibly incur lash removal and washing fees.

  • Please come to your appointment early or on time. If you come early and I am available, we may start early. But if you come late, we may have to finish at the end time so that the next appointment can start on time.

  • I reserve the right to cancel the appointment (with non-refundable deposit) if you are 30 mins or more late.

  • Before starting, we will go over your history and what style of lashes you want. This will include type, shape, length and thickness. You will be able to pick the type of lashes and style of extensions specifically to you.

LASH PROCEDURE

  • You will lay down on the bed, get comfortable, and close your eyes. Using the restroom before the procedure is highly recommended.

  • I will put tape under your lashes, below your eyes so that I can work solely on the lashes. At this time, please keep your eyes closed at all times, until you have been instructed to open your eyes.

  • Individual lashes (or a set of lashes) are dipped into a medical-grade adhesive and will be bonded to your natural eyelashes. This glue may cause irritation to your eyes so it is especially important that you don't open your eyes at any point during the procedure.

    • Many clients fall asleep during the procedure and accidentally open their eyes when they wake up, before the procedure is complete. Opening your eyes while the adhesive has not dried may cause irritation and redness to the eyes. In most cases, the irritation, itchiness, and redness will go away in 24 hours, but may last up to a few days.

    • Beware that there may be side effects along with the use of this adhesive and it may cause an allergic reaction or some sensitivity. At any point during the process you feel any pain or allergic reaction, please let me know immediately.

    • If you are sensitive to a certain brand or type of adhesive, please mention it to me before we start.

  • Depending on what style of lash extensions you want, the process can take from 1 to 2 hours plus, so please be prepared and patient during this time frame. Refills will require less time than a full set of lashes.
